Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Eye On The Site LLC ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (eyeonthesite.com) and web application. WHAT ARE COOKIES Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include the browser's local storage, which websites and web apps use to remember information on your device. WHAT WE USE Essential: the web app stores your sign-in session and a few settings (such as your preferred dashboard layout) in your browser's local storage. The Services cannot work without them. Security: Google reCAPTCHA on our website contact form and Cloudflare Turnstile on the sign-up form help us tell people from bots. They may set cookies and collect device and browser information under the providers' own privacy policies. Payments: when you pay, you are taken to Stripe's checkout pages, which use their own cookies for payment and fraud prevention. Analytics: our public website, and the web app's sign-up, onboarding and checkout pages, use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use them, such as pages visited and time spent, and to measure which campaigns lead to sign-ups and subscriptions. The rest of the web app (your projects, photos and timelapses) is not tracked by Google Analytics. Marketing attribution: when you arrive from an ad, a campaign link or another website, our website and web app remember in local storage where you came from (campaign tags, the linking site and your landing page) for up to 30 days, so that we can tell which campaign led to a sign-up. It is sent to us only if you sign up, and is removed from your browser once you do. Embedded content: videos embedded from YouTube may set cookies when played. HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage, or alert you when they are set. Blocking essential storage will prevent you from signing in to the web app. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date. CONTACT US Questions about our use of cookies: privacy@eyeonthesite.com
